This journal lists vouchers drawn on the State Treasury for the State Bridge Corporation. It includes information such as the ledger expenditure accounts, who the warrant was issued to, what the warrant was issued for, and the amount of the warrant. The volume is incomplete and contains only fifteen pages. The Bridge Corporatin was a trust fund established by an act approved on 1927 Aug. 31. The corporation's mission was to construct fifteen bridges across certain streams in Ala. to be operated as toll bridges until the income from the tolls was sufficient to retire the bonds issued to establish the fund. The State Auditor provided a complete report of the Bridge Corporation's funds in the Auditor's Annual Report.
